What is Indo Nesos?

The ancient Greeks referred to the archipelago as “Indo Nesos.” Some have suggested this as the roots of what is now “Indonesia.” As a tribute to these heritage, I am bringing this name back to life through my work. “Indo Nesos” is the fusion of the East and the West, the space somewhere in between…that I have always found myself in…as an American and Indonesian, part Muslim and part Jewish, and bordering Gen Z and Millennials.
